Bishop Elan Bolton has returned to the GOCTX as a Titular/Auxiliary Bishop

Our Metropolitan has agreed to let dioceses/eparchies decide/vote on certain doctrines to prevent further schism over certain issues. Check certain diocese websites to be sure. Dioceses will have their own websites either by Google sites, Wix, or by attachment to the orthodoxchurchoftexas.org domain (ex: orthodoxchurchoftexas.org/dfw).

We are allowing clergy to use different church-approved photos such as artwork, self-portraits, avatars, bitmoji, etc. for privacy reasons.

Our bishops are voting on a name for the synod of Bishops that will have control over GOCTX (Genuine Orthodox Church of Texas) and IACTX (Independant Antiochian Church of Texas) and other future jurisdictions.

David Brent Baszucki has been excommunicated. We pray for his repentance.

Metropolitan Ioann is expanding the communion north by founding the Serbian True Orthodox Church of Canada & Alaska (STOCCA).

Metropolitan Ioann is going to study Norse mythology and is putting Schemabishop Euronymous in charge of the Church and assigning Bishop Elan Bolton to be the vicar bishop.

Metropolitan Ioann has appointed Schemabishop Euronymous as Metropolitan of the entire communion and Bishop Elan Bolton as the vicar bishop until Metropolitan Ioann decides to return.

Schemaarchbishop Euronymous has deposed Archbishop Maximus for spreading of nazi ideology.

Bishop Elliot Esch is still validly ordained because Schemaarchbishop Euronymous does not want to depose him. The Church will operate still as Bishop Elliot Esch does not want to desecrate anything.
