Micah 6:8 He has shown you O man what is good And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

The Orthodox Church of Texas (Iglesia Ortodoxa de Texas) is a Western Orthodox Zealot Church dedicated to preserving the purity and fundamentals of Orthodox Christianity. Rooted in humility and apostolic tradition, the Church remains unwavering in its commitment to the authentic and true Holy Orthodox faith, resisting modern innovations while safeguarding the teachings handed down by the Holy Apostles and Church Fathers.
Under the omophorions of brother-bishops Catholicos-Patriarch John and Metropolitan Maximus, and guided by the Bishops of the Holy Synod of Texas (aka the Lone Star Synod), the Church maintains a steadfast dedication to Orthodox tradition. Not only has it upheld time-honored customs, but it has also revived certain practices from the early Church—ensuring that its worship and way of life reflect the faith as it was originally intended. With deep reverence for sacred customs and a devotion to spiritual truth, the Orthodox Church of Texas serves as a beacon for those seeking unaltered, unpoliticized, traditional Orthodoxy. We celebrate the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom and the Liturgy according to Saint Germanus.
May God bless our Church, its members, and our beloved partners. May God strengthen the zealous defenders of Holy Orthodoxy. May God lead the heterodox to the True Faith.
Matthew 12:30 - "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad."
We are part of a growing communion of Orthodox Faithful across the world.
Glory be to the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, our One True God,
Amen.
